Cheap hearing aids
Cheap hearing aids are advertised to prey on false hopes,
but you need to invest in a quality hearing aid. Still, if finance is
a limitation there are some steps you can take to lower your costs.
Be sure to talk to your audiologist about your options.
The Mayo Clinic suggests that hearing aids will cost between $900-
$3000 ? not what you would expect if you are looking for cheap hearing
aids. Remember, however, that you are investing in your health and quality
of life. Although most private insurance policies don't cover hearing
aids, some Medicare plans might. Moreover, if you are a veteran, you
may be eligible for a free hearing aid.
Cheap hearing aids will not be high quality and will reduce your comfort
and listening capabilities. To lower costs consider wearing only one
hearing aid device instead of two. Also, basic analog technology is
less expensive than digital and programmable technologies.
