Hearing aid batteries

Hearing aid batteries provide power to hearing aids. They can be purchased online or at a store. Before shopping you should check with your doctor to make sure you are purchasing the right type of batteries.

There are some practical dos and don'ts for use of hearing aid batteries. Make sure you do not short-circuit your hearing aid batteries. Also, be careful not to drop or hit the battery, and avoid exposing the battery to any moisture.

When charging hearing aid batteries, your hearing aid may indicate it is finished charging after just 10 minutes or so. This is normal with rechargeable batteries. Simply remove the battery from the device and reinsert it to repeat the charging procedure. Also, it is important to make sure the batteries are fully discharged every two to three months.
